Playmats, or activity gyms as they are called, can come in handy to parents with young babies. They are fun spots for your baby to spend time while you make dinner, tend to your other children, or have other tasks. And playmats have numerous benefits for little ones. They offer a variety of visuals, sounds, and textures. They also help babies strengthen their neck and shoulder muscles, develop motor skills, and prevent them from getting a flat head. You can start using lay and play toys as soon as your newborn is comfortable lying on their back until they start crawling away and want to explore further.
